1. A PLACEBO-CONTROLLED STUDY OF AN ORAL SUPPLEMENT IN IMPROVING THE APPEARANCE OF PHOTO-AGED SKIN

The study was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of IMEDEEN in improving the appearance of photo-aged skin.
In order to quantify the benefits of Imedeen Plus in improving skin tone, texture and appearance, a twelve-week double-blind, placebo controlled clinical efficacy study on 74 women was conducted and the results of both the objective measurements by dermatologists and the self-assessment by participants were extremely impressive. The report concluded that when two tablets were taken daily for 12 weeks, Imedeen Plus proved to be highly effective in improving the skin’s overall appearance and condition with the active tablet outperforming the placebo.
The results of all scientific and clinical studies clearly show that Imedeen Plus:

• Improves skin quality and moisture balance
• Helps protect collagen and elastin fibres against harmful UV rays
• Makes skin on face and body feel softer and more supple

2.IMPROVEMENT OF DERMAL EXTRA-CELLULAR MATRIX STRUCTURE AND COMPOSITION AFTER TREATMENT WITH IMEDEEN TIME PERFECTION IN AN IN-VITRO SKIN EQUIVALENT

The technique of growing a fully developed 3-D skin equivalent in a laboratory environment was perfected by renowned French scientist and is widely used for testing the mode of action of various skincare ingredients and products.

In the study, Imedeen Plus active ingredients were used in the same ratio as in the original tablet to feed the skin cells of the skin equivalent. The effects of the ingredients were measured and compared to the control cultures which had been developed in parallel without supplementation.

The results were impressive. Compared to the controls, the skin equivalent supplemented with Imedeen Plus ingredients showed a substantial increase in the density of the dermis. Detailed investigation also showed an increased amount of protein fibres - the elements that give skin its strength and elasticity.
